Frequently asked questions
Is my financial data safe?
Yes. There's no server-side database - your transactions, budgets, and net worth live only on your device and your own iCloud account. Bank connections are read-only, and PDF statements are parsed entirely on-device too.
How do I connect my bank account?
Link a UK bank through Lunch Flow, our open banking connection partner - you'll sign in with (or create) your own Lunch Flow account, which bills you directly for the connection, separately from MoneyTracker UK. Prefer not to? Import a PDF bank statement instead, parsed entirely on-device - either way, we never see your bank credentials.
Do I need to create an account?
Not for MoneyTracker UK itself - there's no sign-up or login for the app. Linking a bank does require its own Lunch Flow account (see above), but manual tracking and PDF import work with nothing to sign up for at all.
Is there an age requirement?
You need to be 16 or over to use MoneyTracker UK at all. Linking a bank and using the on-device AI Spending Trends feature go further and require you to be 18+, confirmed through Apple's age range API - so we only ever learn which side of 18 you're on, never your exact birthdate.
How can I try it before the App Store launch?
Join the TestFlight beta above for access right now, or join the waitlist to be emailed the moment we launch publicly.
